Who We Are:

Cynthia’s Costumes and Parties, established in San Carlos, CA in August, 2002, is an eclectic and extensive collection of costumes, accessories, props, decorations, stories, games, and programs.

Our original charter was to provide themed costume dress-up parties for children. Although our inventory and offerings have GREATLY expanded over the years, our Mission has remained the same:

To provide enchanting, memorable and fun-filled experiences through role playing and make believe!

RENTAL INFORMATION

Our extensive, eclectic, and affordable collection of costumes, accessories, decorations, props, etc., can be used for parties, events, school projects, theatrical productions, etc.

Adult costume rentals start at $30 plus cleaning
Child rentals start at $25 plus cleaning
Cleaning fees range from $5 to $15
Accessory, prop, and decoration rentals are also available for as low as $5

THEATER ARTS PROGRAM

Boost you child’s confidence and engage their imagination by participating in theatrical presentations! We create shows featuring children as the stars with costumes and storybook favorites. For example, you can drop off your child, run some errands, and enjoy a show when you return for just $25 per hour. We also create puppet shows!

STORYTELLING AND GAMES

We have an extensive library of stories, educational books, and games, and offer a drop-in program afternoons and weekends for just $15 per hour.

PHOTO OP SESSIONS

Bring your camera and dress up for pictures, for $20 per hour per person (minimum 2 persons). Or, Cynthia’s can bring a set of costumes and accessories to you!

INTERACTIVE THEME-BASED PARTIES

Our parties offer much more than your typical party entertainers, because at our parties the children ARE the entertainers! Cynthia’s provides costumes, props, stories, music, games, and decorations for a wide variety of themes, providing you with opportunities for wonderful pictures and videos. Party packages start at $150, and can be delivered to your venue or (for small groups) at our party and theater suite.

For example, at our Clown Party kids dress up as clowns, do face painting, perform puppet shows, march in a “clown parade”, and more! At our Fairy Party we create a fairyland with fabric and flowers, dress up as fairy princesses, perform fairy stories and the fairy dance, and more! Other themes include:
